I was referring to the phone but interestingly Power delivery seems to be compatible with Qualcomm quick charge device's, it fast charges my phone and tablet that don't mention PD compatibility but it's probably not the other way QC can't quick charge a PD device. They both use very similar voltages so not totally surprising.

Has anyone done a accurate test on these Anker 10,000mAh PD banks?

The one I ordered seems to have not much over 6000mAh, which may explain the low price, possibly very old stock and degraded cells.
How are you measuring? Specifically the 6000 value ?

I think you may be measuring the output which is 6000mah at 5v vs 10000mah is measured at nominal 3.7v.
This is why i prefer wh ratings instead of mah.

My Tab S3 has a 6000mAh battery at 3.8v 22.8Wh and the battery bank can just barely cover giving it a full charge.

Seems you are correct though, I just checked the Anker page and it says it has enough capacity to provide just over two charges for an iPhone XS which has a 2658 mAh battery 3.8V 10.13Wh.

I would have hoped the rated capacity would be the output it can give.

Are there any rules around how manufacturers are supposed to give battery bank capacity?

Anybody know of any deals on DDR3 ram. Looking for 8GB (either 1 module or 2 4GB).
Its for a Dell Latitude E6230

I personally have the purpose built solutions lol, but ther DIY lasts much longer and works just as well.
Also the option of adding more than just your router to i
I am willing to try building it but I need pictures and instructions, have a spare battery 12v 7ah that I can use, wire and terminals.

So it charges the battery, how do I keep a router connected? Do I have to manually disconnect and then connect to the router?

No. You leave your router connected to it. If power goes off then it switches to battery automatically.

Is your router 12v? You will need a 12v plug to connect from backup to router, unless you want to chop up your existing dc adapter.

SLA -12v 7ah at 50% dod -> 12 * 3.5 = 42Wh
Gizzu - 3.7v 8.8ah at 100% dod -> 3.7 * 8.8 = 32.56Wh

:rolleyes:
7ah batteries has allready lost some life standing still and while in storage, and avg person runs the system till it dead and never monitors so It stays above 50% . I have no 7ah battery system that powered a router for 2 hours after a year for use. Gizzu tested yesterday did 6 hours

They advertise these for R999, "R500" discount.
Advertised in recent pamphlet
