Spending that money I’d definitely save the R6k over the Samsung(that can have issues, there’s a thread about a guys misery with one) and go with the C2, by all accounts a sublime display.

True, most like it, but it's not as perfect as I expect it to be considering the price.
If mostly gaming I would strongly consider the LG OLED over the Samsung. For productivity I would be afraid of burn in.
