VA has much better contrast and deeper blacks so its more readable at low brightness, quite important if you are running double and triple monitor setups.

I prefer to get a tan outdoors.

Also, you do get VA and IPS panels that are terrible for text regardless, mainly due to them being cheap.

Recertified is a mix bag and can't compare one experience with the next.. they trust it enough to offer a 6 months warranty, so if it's cheap enough and you won't be bitter about losing money after the 6 months warranty is gone, go for it..

I mean, does that even matter? You want speed, you can pay for it.

I think you'd be hard-pressed to even get a 1TB mechanical drive for that price.

As @Gtx Gaming said... that was a cheap AF SSD from a decent brand.
 
Cheap yes, if you want 1tb and dont care about speed.

But its quite a slap in the face to label it a pcie 4 drive if it doesnt even max out the older 3.0 speeds. Yes i know a 4.0 can be plugged into a 3.0 slot and still work at degraded speeds.. but in this case there's no speed to lose

All our PC's have main Samsung drives but secondary ones are Mushkin/Crucial and now Kingston whatever is discounted. Beats normal ssd.
"Old" ssd's get relegated to various server projects.
