I bought a box of 100 DVD-Rs with standard plastic covers for R199 from a local pc store a couple months back.

These are 100 units of Verbatim 4.7GB DVD-R with 100 paper sleeves. It's a good deal. All those other cheap ones I would never buy as they are not reliable.

I don't even trust Sony and Imation that much either.

For DVD-R, your best bet is Taiyo Yuden (as long as not fake) and Verbatim (as long as not fake).
