Yes it is. You can't get a 1Tb HDD and enclosure for that cheap anywhere.

Friend of mine has one of these too, and he says the transfer speeds are pretty good.

its "ok" to give a cash discount, its not ok to charge a premium for using a card... amounts to the same thing though...

True - but card agreements specifically state they cannot charge customers extra for using a card.

2.5' 500g Samsung external HD for R999.

It's cool at 12" but at 42" you want 1080P

For living room use, you'd struggle to see the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 42".

A full HD branded 40" LCD is now selling at R8000+. This is R2000 cheaper. That's very cool.

I don't think so. Seems the Mweb subscription is an option where you get a free router. At least that's how I interpret the ad...

I was a bit of confused about that as well but I'm inclined to agree... You get the router if you sign up a 12 month contract, doesn't seem related to the netbook
