mmmmmm, what you mean? Wouldn't you recommend it? That thermaltake looks slightly large and I'm not looking forward to removing my mobo to install it.

As for the KB, very risky, I might hate it... MK705 I like a lot but I have a KB fetish which needs to be fed. Nearly bought an Apple wireless KB the other day!!!! Looks over rated to me though and then there is the small issue of pc compatibility...

Oh, I was talking about the keyboard.

Definitely get the MUX 120, got one myself in black.

Hmmm, K800's keys will be similar size to the MK705, only flatter. I don't think you can go wrong. ;)

Good stuff!!

Flatter is good, been trying to find a keyboard that best replicates a laptop keyboard in feel and texture. Have you worked on a K800 before Postman?

EDIT: Oh and how quiet is the MUX 120? Installation? Easy?

Yes I have. Slightly different to the keys of my Illuminated wired, but still awesome.

It's pretty quiet. 8.5/10. Not as quiet as the HR-02 Macho, but that's because it's bundled with Thermalright's legendary TY-140 140mm fan that is silent. (http://www.imagehost.co.za/image-70BB_4EDC9E4F.jpg http://www.imagehost.co.za/image-C06D_4EDC9E4F.jpg)

You could probably buy a TY-140 if you are unhappy with the MUX's 120mm, because it has 140mm and 120mm mounting holes. Installation is easy, will require taking the mobo out unless your case has a cut-out in the mobo plate.

I found setting the MUX-120 to 65% or so in Speedfan made it totally silent, while maintaining solid temps.

So I ordered the K800 from eshopper.co.za. Durban based company, 5 minutes after processing my order I get an email stating they have stock and the KB will be shipped in 10 minutes..... R1114 including delivery....

I just phoned Tygervalley branch and they say that they have it in stock and its going for R2,999 (and not R2900) - so I'm still going to get one :D

do you have the model no for this lg?

I'd start your own thread, you're more likely to get suggestions there

My 2 cents anyways...

If you're looking to overclock, you could get a 2500k for R2,235 and the P67 boards start at around R920 (for the intel stock ones not the best for overclocking but can get some extra out of the processor, Asus P67 start at around R1400 online)
total +-R3200

or you could go for a 2500 at R2089.35
and a H67 board starting at around R850
total +- R2950
