Hey guys,

Please help me decide:

Seagate 500GB Barracuda 7200.14 SATA6 16MB 7200RPM Hard Drive at Sybaritic for R643.00

or

WD Desktop Green OEM Series - 750GB Serial ATA III - Serial ATA at NGR for R599

Delivery is R60 at both around the same for both.

Any advise please.

If it's storage then capacity beats speed.

I would go for the 500GB if it's intended as an internal drive since it's 7200RPM and
the WD Green is not. If you just need storage space, the 750GB is fine, but if you're
going to load an OS to it, definitely go for the 500GB.

Seagate has best reputation for not crashing.friend had a strange glitch with a WD HDD before and i have had trouble too.so i only buy seagate
 
Seagate 7200rpm 500GB ?
Could possibly get a 1TB for around the same price..
Is this for storage or primary OS drive ?
