I suspect if you call a branch from another branch, they'll tell you the stock shown on the system is faulty. If you go in, they'll just tell you no stock. Try phoning (from inside the branch) and saying you're calling from another branch and see what they say.

Yup.... almost sure that will happen.

I've also actually just sat down at one of their PCs and checked stock before.. took about a minute before the nearest salesman realised what was going on.
 
Just a heads up, Incredible have the Logitech F540 wireless headset for Xbox / PS3 for R749. There was 1 left at Fourways, not sure about the other branches.

Hi. I'm a newbie here. I'm no techie. I can build up a pc though.

Anyway a guy has an Intel motherboard and a 2.9GHz I7 processor for sale. He is selling it for R1000 without RAM, graphics card etc.
I don't know which generation motherboard and processor it is.

Can the fundis here tell me if asuming its the 1st generation motheboard and CPU, what are the bugs, glitches, faults and is it worth me buying it because my income is almost the same as a domestic workers, and I wouldn't want to spend money on something when I need to be saving.

That's a good price. The problem though is what happens if it stops working a month or two after you buy it? A few weeks ago I paid R1.7k for a decent Gigabyte motherboard and R2.5k for a Core i5-3570K, so you can see that buying decent hardware new costs a bit. Request that the sales agreement between you include a 6 month warranty.

I normally use Amazon or Newegg for some extra reviews and input. Personally I would rather look at the Pretigio roadrunner 500 if I was you although it's about double the price.
 
@Aharon, according to a comment from flipkart site, there is a Seagate drive inside.

Note that it shows 3 year warranty on that site but Takealot / Sony / Seagate is giving us 1 Year which i think is right.
