Lol ... I'm sort of boosting a competitor here ... but anyway ... I'm not sure how cheap wantitall.co.za are with their stuff ... but I was walking through Sandton and walked past Global Wrapps in the Food Court, and noticed that if you buy there ... the back of the till slip is 10% off coupon from anything off wantitall.co.za ... there is a big poster that states this ... so if you guys want to get 10% of something on Wantitall, go eat something at Global Wrapps in Sandton Foodcourt (Even a just a coke I suppose :p) ... thought I'd let you guys know ... See thats being a nice competitor :) ... I'm boosting their site ... and I don't even know them :)

Buy 10 coke's one after another and then buy 10 different things 10 different times form want it all! :D

Thats a 100% discount in total :P so buy 9 of the same graphics cards ... get the 10th free :P

That's be one helluva SLI setup if you could supercomputer the whole thing:eek:

10 grand ... wow thats cheap ... I was thinking more along the lines of the 9800GX2's :D

Here's the thing ... find 9 buyers for the other graphics cards ... and you've scored yourself a free GFX:cool:

lol, I don't think the discounts stack :o
10% per an item, but! I could be wrong!

as for the 10card SLI mabey 10 8500GT's will = a 9600GT in power!! :D

The biggest non-commercial setup I've seen is using 4x Quadro's in "SLI"-mode. Or rather just 4 Quadros in parallel with which to run 4 32" LCDs. Hectic thing was, it was the top of the line Quadro's. Costs around R35k each...

mmm could try Tri-SLI 3 x 9800GX2's thats basicaly 6 GPU's! :D too bad you will need the budget of a small country or win the lotto.

chances of that happening... 0.000000001% :D

I also think It wouldn't be stacked. 10% discount ten times only means 10% discount on a larger amount. So instead of paying R22000 for 10x8500GT's (puke), you only pay R20000 so in effect you do get one free for the same price. But then I'd just rather do a triple-SLI setup with 3x9800GTS2 (or whatever that card is called).

Seems you beat me to it. The tri-SLI mainboard costs around R3500-R4000 and the graphics cards cost what, R7000 each?

I'm just glad I don't have to pay for the power that will be needed by running 10 GPU's, or even just a triple-SLI (which will be around 1kW minimum)

  1. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  2. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  3. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  4. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  5. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  6. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  7. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  8. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  9. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
  10. Nvidia card = R1000 - R100 Discount = Pay R900
Total = R9000
So you bought 10 cards and saved R1000 ... in essence, you got a card for free ... then you charge everyone R1000 for each card "as thats what it says on the site :P" ... so you have R1000 profit ... then you use that R1000 profit to buy a card ... but if you're clever ... you'll apply the discount and still end up profiting R100 and getting the card :P

Yes, it makes sense. But are wantitall's prices even so good that you could sell the cards that you buy at the price that you bought it at?

I dunno ... maybe :P ... never checked ... its all hypothetical you see ... :p
