Got the R99 8GB USB drive from IC, about the only time I'll buy there...

I've got nothing against IC, other than knowing that on most things they're more expensive and that they cater for a market that wants to walk in and buy a computer off the shelf. If you watch their prices, you can get something good. I got two of the 8Gb drives - one for me and one for sommer.

What's your budget and intended usage? For basic home use with no gaming, grab a Zotac Mag for about R3,000. If you need more power, there are dozens of prebuilt PC's available with entry-level components in the same price range

They have the Z4's there but no stock... Its on display, and is advertised. They Cannot supply me one though. I warned them that today was the day the CPA came into play, they didnt seem to care though.

Oh Dear. Thats probably a good thing. R 750 Bucks with the 50% off. Seemed like a good buy. They also have the 360 Logis there, Not sure of the model name. Z523 or something :/

Logitech Z-4's served me very well for years and I was very happy with the audio quality. Huge step up from entry level 2.1 PC speakers. Yeah they are still PC speakers, but can we expect the Z-2300/Z-5500 to perform like R5,000 bookshelf or monitor speakers or decent entry level surround home theatre speakers (Jamo)? When comparing the Z-4's to the other common 2.1 PC systems based on ±same price, they will come out tops.

Logitech Z-4 are the best 2.1 PC speakers I've heard. Far better than the X-230's, or anything from Creative or Divoom.

For R750 they'd be a steal. Also because they are end of life now, and scarce.
