wd green 2tb inside.

MY friend is taking the paper thats coming today and standing in front of the door at 8am on Thursday see if he can get one , even though there is 150+ people on the list for drives at the n1 city branch.

Stupid question, can one buy the external HD from GAME (2GB), and use it as an internal drive in the HTPC???
 
I called them (Cresta) this morning...from the floor manager they never even got it from the supplier. Indicated that there may be week(s) delay.
 
ok my called me a few min ago, after speaking to nico the manager.

it seems these drives was in the habour at the customs for 2months or something might get stock soonish, think it is cleared now, each store should get a 100 of them, not sure how true it is, my friend will wait at game today and see how it goes.
 
Thanks for the update. They are really slow and becoming useless lol. They better get their act together. >.<

Popped in at the local game this morning, was the first at the PC section, no drives, hoping to have on the 24th, if you believe the sales assistant that is.

I picked up some Logitech speakers on special for R199, only one unit available.

This really seems like a bait and switch exercise on Games part, they will not build loyal customers like this at all.
 
This is getting tedious now, on the NH forums, 2 users have confirmed picking up stock.

I believe the mall in somerset west also has stock... may mate just picked up 3, he seems to think he can resell them and make money... what a noob!

Lazy much :p, 2TB drives that were advertised but stock is nearly non-existent (see tygervalley update above).

If we don't speak up, then they will continue to have fun from behind :( (lube isn't free).

Tygervalley folks rejoice (those on the list atleast) :D
 
How much are these again? And, to confirm, there are or aren't any available at Tygervalley? I might pop in there on my way home...
