Seagate 7200rpm 500GB ?
Could possibly get a 1TB for around the same price..
Is this for storage or primary OS drive ?

Primary OS Drive for older core2duo spec pc for surfing, casual games for kids and watching movies and playing music.

I went ahead and bought the green drive. Will install tonight and give some feedback.

Anyone bought from them before?

"Allow up to four weeks for delivery " does it really take this long?

The deal is actually through Groupon. Well-known, and I've bought offers from them before. Unfortunately, yes, sometimes delivery does take a while. Never seen 4 weeks on the offers before, but yeah...

Already ordered one. The 1Ghz CPU is old news now, but I just want it for taking PDF's to lectures, and maybe some XBMC :) Plus it has a USB port for flash drives, etc.

You mean groupon? They're an international company.

Bought a bike gps from them last month, took about a week and a half. Remember they're basically a sales aggregator, so it depends on the supplier, and the clock only starts once the deal expires, hence they're just covering with "4 weeks".

Guys, I mean this in the nicest possible way, but I am subscribed to this thread for hardware bargains, so if you going to have arb chat back and forth why not PM each other? Sorry if I am off the mark here and it seems like I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Those looks really nice but I bought a cipherwave model from them before and then I transferred the drive itself to my hpms and it was developed errors. CSSI wouldn't honour the WD warranty because I'd removed the drive from the cipherwave case. BS imo. Makro/Game have had 2TB seagate/wd in manufacturer enclosures for 1-1.1k recently.

Not BAD pricing, but really nothing amazing IMO. I have found that Onedayonly have gone to the dogs. Especially since that dreadful re branding exercise.

Yeah I must say their deals aren't as super as they used to be. The 3TB isn't too pricey though.

Normally the HDD and the Encasing have separate warranties. I got my 2TB for R999 from Incredible Corruption 1.5 months or so ago. I think the 3TB drive is relatively cheap in this case though.

Yeah one would think so when the drive and the enclosure come from different manufacturers. I wouldn't really expect a seperate warranty when it's a sealed seagate/wd enclosure. I had a seagate 2.5 enclosure die but I removed the drive and it's still going strong.

any one recommend any hard ware bargins on a wireless mouse for a desktop. Old one is packing up. Dont play games, mainly web browsing. I like quite a big mouse.
