Damn, I need a switch, since it's only for game images it'll stay connected but not in use over 90% off the time. My verbatim also spins up when connected but it has a switch too..

All I was saying is that I experienced two issues when trying to purchase on the website. I tried again today and same thing. Gave up on credit card and went EFT option instead.

These things power down when you don't use them. That is why if you come back after a while and access the drive it is slow and has spins up cause it parks the heads off the platter.

External hdds are quite robust these days, especially the notebook drives. It ain't like first gen tech.

Understandable, all my internal storage drives do this, though I would've like to have it off and not spinning up every time the pc boots only to wait and power down again.

Today daily deal from TAKEALOT is R1999 for Xbox 360 4GB. Now if I recall that is the price it has been for a while now in most stores so how is that a deal?

The daily deals suck balls lately, often the awesome daily deal is only about 20 bucks cheaper than normal.

Two of them in SLI are sort of on par with a single 970 (benchmarks vary either way in different use cases). I would have taken a single card solution over SLI from a simplicity point of view. SLI \ Crossfire can still be finicky for certain games.

Not an ITX size card so somewhat irrelevant to what dualmeister is building.
 
Guys of any of you find a good ps4 special please post, I should have bought one when it was R 5300, damn
