All I was saying is that I experienced two issues when trying to purchase on the website. I tried again today and same thing. Gave up on credit card and went EFT option instead.

There is dodge, then there is dodge. Loot ain't dodge in the normal sense of the word. Dodge != a few errors on a site. Yes the 404 registration page thing (&/or payment loop) is a problem they need to look at, but that does not make them dodge.

No use in refreshing a 404 page. Simply opening any other loot.co.za link/tab would've logged you in and now you can continue shopping.

Terrible overpriced, it doesn't include battery nor Meanwell from Mantech, it is a bargain thread.
BTW, don't be fooled by 3.x ampers figure, it has only 2.2A output (sufficient to power one router)

But it is a lot more efficient with energy. The 7 Ah battery can easily last 2 hours of loadshedding, or 5 hours if you get the more expensive lead crystal battery. Normal batteries are less than R200, and you can get that unit for less than the Communica price. So looking at around R500-R600. Which is the same as a 600VA UPS, that uses the same battery, but will not last as long due to conversion losses. With this unit you can also add a larger battery for longer standby time.

I got one like that six mnths ago for about R2k. Not sure if you can open it. Theres no screws as usual.

Drive itself good? No crashes slow transfer speed, excessive noise

Very quiet. Its usb3 and I use a pci xpress adon card so I cant comment on speed. Also no on off switch. As soon as you plug the cable in a usb port(and connected to 12vdc), it switches on. I have no issues with it
