The WD Red I bought last week was a 2014 unit with older NASWare version.

That being said, a product doesn't have to be the latest and greatest to be a bargain.

Don't use the 2.5" Toshiba Canvio Basic series, no pure SATA interface; bought 2 on special the other week to put in my PC, cracked them open and they have a proprietary USB3 board interface only...

Thanks... Buyhappy not working again but I have my own R200 voucher from the colour run... Is this a worthwhile upgrade?
