Save 200 bucks and get that :)
hmm that is a good price.

is that drive good for the os though? thought the green drives have a built in sleep or something to save energy.

After some pretty shocking experiences with several SSD brands like Crucial and Kingston (Crucial dying in less than a year, Kingston died after 1.2 years) I'm sticking to Samsung myself for now. [The drives were in client PCs]

I really like the WD's price and it looks good, but it's still too new for me to know how reliable they are.

Bad luck there. I have a Crucial that's been running since 2013.

OCZ also had a stretch where all SSDs just died. I'm running two Lite-On OEM drives in my machine - no worries. Been running for a few years, all day every day, all good still. I like WD, but of all the HDDs I've had that have died, about 90% of them were WD drives. Not saying their SSDs are the same because I like the brand, but I'll be hard-pressed to buy WD again.

Also running a Lite-On (Now 3 years old which AJ still sold on Carbonite) and samsung in my own PC which has been super solid.
Have a broken OCZ Agility lying around here too...

So yeah, bit skittish these days - none of the Samsungs I've sold (and there's been a lot) or bought for myself have given any problems yet.

Jumps on crucial hate bandwagon, also had issues. Won't be getting one anytime soon. No issues with WD

WD I think bought out SanDisk

Both the WD and Crucial use Marvel controllers. WD Green SSD's dont' use 3D NAND or has that changed recently?

I haven't heard a word from IC about those mice yet. Tomorrow it will be a week and nobody has even bothered sending me an email to update me on what's going on.

Mine just moved to "Awaiting stock" and it's stuck there now.

I've sent two requests to IC support and received no reply, even after querying the order of mine that they cancelled.

Adding them to the list of 'stores I won't support' as of today :)

Give them a call. I did and the dude on the phone was quite helpful. Checked and confirmed both of my orders, and assured me that I'll get them (I know, promises and all that). I'll wait it out and see what happens.

Why should a customer go through a tremendous amount of effort? Surely the shop should have their story sorted, and should inform the customers if they can fulfil an order?

Nah man I'm done with them. I went to the store yesterday and found the bloke but I couldn't get any solid information out of him.

I'm still waiting for his call from last week, and the reply from their Website Orders support line x2. I'm not running after them for a damn mouse. They can go fly a kite as far as I'm concerned.

Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 are available on EA Access / Origin Access.
