I-Burst will begin billing end of this month... right.

So I for example will be paying for december and january.
What if... BIG IF.... they charge people for any bandwidth usage over the allotted 3gb a month during the test phase.
Hmm....so lets say R100 a gig, you owned bit torrent at 20Gb, you get a bill for R454 + R1700?

In my mind they can't do this, but this is ZA, you can get away with anything.

Am I the only one thinking about this?

To clarify this. When the test phase started they said the service would be capped at a later stage (Uncapped for the time being), but they didn't say they were not gonna charge did they?

Am I correct in saying that the way it is going to work is such:
If you require extra bandwidth after you have reached your cap - you will have to request it. - They are not simply going to allow your downloading to carry on and then suprise you with a massive bill at the end of the month. (There is no way to check what you have downloaded already is there?)
I would assume the same applies to now - so they won't be able to spring this suprise on you. I may be wrong though?

*pawns himself*

Fortunately they would have a legal nightmare trying to acheive that, infact Im holding onto my 1 page contract without terms and conditions just incase they ever get any clever Hellkom ideas.

I'm pretty sure they'd not go that route ... the bad press would kill em ;-)

Not to mention the medical bills I'd be forwarding them for my heart attack ;-)
