Has Digichilli Launched?

Are there any proxy servers one can use with DigiChilli?

Thx

I am no longer experiencing packet loss but my speeds have dropped to almost nothing.

This is a local ping almost hitting 500ms... this is horrible! Seacom can't be blamed for local pings can it? I knew this was going to be too good to be true

What package are you on?
I wonder if it matters who you are contending with in your pool (leechers vs browsers)
I'm surprised you have been fine since one of the main links to seacom is down atm.

Using a 384k line and on the Spicy package (I think its called Spicy. It is the R300 one)

@ GodModeInc, Like people keep saying speedtest sites and apparently ICMP (Pings, Tracert afaik) have been given lower priority due to overuse.

I have gotten average pings of 27ms to games.saix.net (just tried now), and other local sites.

To be fair, I don't know whether my pings are good or not, but that is because I don't care about games in the slightest. Web browsing is good, Skype is good, torrents are alright. So I'm pretty happy.

Has it always been good? or have you seen an improvement in the last hour - two hours?

It has been good, and pretty steady, since I got my account late yesterday afternoon.

OK, thanks for the prompt response. So it would seem that there are mixed results here...interresting

with my luck i would be one of those folks who are having issues.

I give up...flatlining on DigiChilli....with DNS settings just as bad...

Looks like SA ISPs aren't ready for uncapped at low prices yet. I will wait for WA. They are going to knock our socks off.

Wow... do you know something we don't? AFAIK they look like they are pretty comfortable an don't care much about what their clients think.

I was reading MBB to see if there were any snags in the registration progress. Now it seems everyone is having issues. I wanted to sign up today for Xbox LIVE. With local latencies going to 1k, this will not be a good idea.

Damn I really wanted an account. I am going to wait a few months before I sign up.

Although I have digichilli, I still intend on using my Axxess 626 account for XBox Live.......The latency is just too bad on Digichilli at the moment.

If you are referring to WA I don't think you could be more wrong, their level of communication is the highest of any ISP so far. I'm not expecting them to challenge these low priced uncapped options but I think there service is going to be excellent.

Hi Guys,

There's an issue with one block on our range of our IP's. All people on that range will be affected. We're trying to determine the cause of the issue and rectify it.
