Sure a lot are interested, imo it won't work unless it's done with a friend or someone you know well.
 
OK - it's working :) Speeds are as expected on lowest package.... Speed test got around 36kb.

Weird though, cannot connect to MSN or GTalk through the chat clients.

WoW is also not loving life. But will give it a chance to prove itself when my line is less busy.

Having the same issue here actually.

Speeds are exactly what I expect (and I'm happy with that) but MSN won't connect and uRemote goes apewillies every 2 seconds or so. AIM and Gtalk are fine here though.

Thankfully I have no one to talk to so it's not such a bother. Lack of life victory! *shuts up and crawls back into his hole*
 
I did a EFT yesterday morning. Hopefully I will get my login details before the weekend.
 
I just got mine - and I did an EFT yesterday morning. (Thanks to the Chillies) Will have to wait till I get home to test though.

Hang in there guys - I'm sure they are doing what they can to get everyone sorted ASAP.
 
If it's a Seacom issue then they will have to wait for the upstream guys to fix it.
 
still nothing,since saturday,paid via eft,phoned them numerous times.so ****ed off,it not even funny.

I went through this with Screamer 3 weeks ago and now my connection is SCREAMING:D

I do think that they are doing something with torrents though because the only complaints I see now on Screamer are from clients who don't get their full torrent downloads although news servers seem to be flying.
 
Thats cos Screamer has very few subscribers... I'm sure the see-saw will go the other way until people are used to uncapped :p
It would be nice if another player came to the party to help balance things even more.
 
There is SAOL with uncapped + line rental for R499 - I think most people are reluctant to move their lines though. (waiting for Webafrica's offering early next year)

No bursting this morning. And latency is a joke...

Still cannot connect to GTalk and MSN :confused: Have to used web-based clients which keep timing out.

And tabbed browsing appears to be a thing of the past. Really going slowly :(

In addition, WoW rejects me. DC's on loading screen. Timing out I assume. Not cuz it is patch day, but was doing so last night.

Ummm, how much is dial-up these days?

Speed is dead for me too, about 5-10 kBbs torrents, bouncing around like mad though. Browsing is a bit slow too, even on local. Was fine 24 hours ago, which is pretty much when last I checked it. Both now and then though had a problem with stability. Gaming is still impossible, I have to switch over to my old isp for gaming. Also I am able to see when connection dies thanks to xfire, which disconnects each time and tells me about it later if I am not on. So far its disconnected at least once each time I am afk.
 
I spoke to the call center and they are working on the issue - hopefully later this morning it will be back to normal.
 
Got my details at 6.30am this morning; also paid Saturday via CC.

So things seem to be moving along.
