Has Digichilli Launched?

forgotten to mention that i have a 384 line, but subscribed to the spicy option.

On the spicy option as well.

Heres hoping that once the networks settles down, we will have more speed bursts. :D

Want to upgrade to a 4 meg account. Have to wait a whopping 4 hrs for 600meg download on 512k

all the fuss and complaints, oi oi oi. i registered on the site, i went to the bank, i paid for my service, i came home and checked my mail, i retrieved my username and password, i stuck it in my router and i connected. no problems, 0 zilch nothing nata. :D

I'm connected!!
Speed is great when browsing. Hope Skype is good as well.
Torrents are slow, but thats fine.

Lucky you :)

Seems like Digichilli has sorted out their signup process.

Lets hope the network can become a bit more stable.

Very happy to finally be connected :)
so far browsing seems good. torrents are running between 15 - 20KBps, and youtube is painfully slow. anyone else having problems there? im thinking this is probably just temporary..
now that i am connected i have nothing but high hopes for digichilli.

It will get better too - the past two days have been pretty bad for speed because of the upstream issue. Expect it to get better than it already is.

one thing that they can do to improve the website, is to add the package you are on, when you log in and go to your details (wait...are they doing that and I've missed it?)

Some speed test results

Torrents are going around 250KB/s, NZB @ 120KB/s.
Gmail loaded up pretty quick, other sites are a little slower though.

I got my details this afternoon (I just emailed and asked nicely :D )
My local is fine, but intl is sluggish. FTPs time out after a while. Getting 2-5KBps there.
Going to try a well seeded torrent now to see how a threaded one would go.

My IM apps are fine, but I have to load gmail in html mode...

Currently I experience about 20% packet loss to any international IPs. I hope this will be fixed after the Seacom maintenance tonight.

Can someone explain why international torrents are flying but international HTTP downloads are so slow?

Apparently something is down with regard to their seacom link. That's what I've heard.

im wondering the same thing. although my torrent speeds are only flying compared to http (10KBps vs about 2KBps). on speed test local download speed is 0.32mbps but international is 0.04mbps. is this a seacom issue?

Thanks - but if I am using intl torrents.......am I not using Seacom?
