My wife said it has an error... Well rescan when I get home later this week...

Rescan might only work if the channel is not there at all. Error is bad news, I'm afraid. What size dish?

What error message?I got an E37 earlier on when apparantly the 425 channel wasn't up yet but later on I got the channel loud and clear.

Get her to check again...could be up and running as I only checked about 45 minutes ago.

Just tried after I got the email from dstv. Didn't work. Maybe cos I don't have an HD subscription. Which begs the question why did they send the email?

Same error. Did a rescan. Same error. Rebooting DSD now. She will send a pic when done... But it sounds like I am fscked

I also get E37 - The channel does not exist.
I have unplugged and restarted my decoder, but no channel 425.
What is meant by 'rescan' ?

Could be the 90cm one. I had it installed in +- 1998

If it is a 90cm, probably just alignment... but sounds like you need to call someone.

Go to tv guide and select all channels then scroll across to the test channel. You're probably in favourites mode (purple epg) which won't work

Push down arrow to bring up "All Channels" grid, select the channel from there. Don't just push 425 on the remote
