According to Lorraine, they don't pay anything until the appeal is heard.

Next month it will have been 1 full year since the process started. What's the point?

well the appeal is finalised and that is the final amount...anyway - try considering what you would have to do as a criminal action to be fined 50k in the magistrates court and how long it would take to finalise the matter if you contested it and took it on appeal...

i hear your cynicism about the process but do you think he was happy with a R50 000 fine?

I would be happier if the fine were a personal one, rather than one paid out of illegal company earnings.
