HD - will you see it?

Hi,

I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find it.

My question is will you notice a huge / real difference between 480 / 768 and 1080 on a 42" at 4 or 5 metres?

I've heard things like you need a 50"+ TV and at a distance, you won't notice massive differences anyway.

Not too sure about the distance but to me, there was a definite difference in quality between 720 and 1080

At +/- 3.5M from my 42" you can see a difference between 720p upwards vs 480 and down.
