Morning. For a while now there's a connection hickup between the mibox and my tv. Intermittently it would "scratch" the sound/image. Then i'll take out the hdmi cable, blow on the pins (As i assume there's dust or something) and plug back the cable. All good for a while and then the same problem.
Recently the scratching/disconnecting is very frequent. Tried 3 different hdmi cable that was lying around, tried all 3 Hdmi ports on the tv, it scratches befok.
So... cable problem ? Mibox hdmi output problem ?

Does the TV have multiple HDMI ports?
Try another device like a DVD player
I suspect the MiBox

Yip, 3 ports. Have a PS3 on one which gives zero schit. I suspect the mibox port to be the bugger.

Could be a cheap kak quality HDMI cable, Ive had the same issues over the years
Edit: My bad, I read your 2nd sentence and see you have already tried that

What frame rate is been outputted on your media player?
Are you getting this problem on certain frame rates or on all of them no matter what the video is?

Doesn't matter what the video is. Video can be paused and it will "stutter""scratch" the sound.

If it becomes more frequent then likely a bad connection. Try mibox on another input of tv to figure out if it’s on tv or mibox side

If the video is good and the audio is bad, it is not the connector or cable - as these signals are multiplexed (carried on the same signal wires).
Most likely it is a bug on the mibox software or the TV.

Both video and audio does this scratching thing.
