Think Mbeki would leave silently, without a fight?
Think again! He just filed papers in the COnstitutional Court to appeal against the ruling on Zuma !!!!! :eek: :eek:
The weekend was just the silence before the storm!

Johannesburg - President Thabo Mbeki filed papers in the Constitutional Court on Monday to join an application for leave to appeal against a Pietermaritzburg High Court judgement on Jacob Zuma.

Presidential spokesperson Mukoni Rat****anga told Sapa papers had also been filed by the Cabinet to be part of such an application.

He said Mbeki had filed in both his personal capacity and as head of the executive.

Now the **** hits the fan!!!!!!!!!!!! Zuma vs Mbeki big-time!!

And down the Rand spirals into the bottomless abyss... and the exchange rate with the Euro jumps :p ;) :cool:

Maybe Mbeki is growing a pair of kahuna's now that he has nothing to lose really...

This could prove VERY interesting.
 
Imagine if Zuma gets convicted this time round. We'll have gotten rid of both Thabo and Zuma...Win!!! :p

And here I thought Thabo was going to take this lying down... interesting times.
 
If Thabo has any chance, it is now or never. Perhaps with some sympathy from the public maybe it will put enough pressure on the courts to convict Zuma.

@blunomore: I must admit Thabo fighting back also surprises me
