Nah, solar generation starts to take a knock around 3pm in summer and 2pm in winter. You know trying to get CoJ to actually come and trim trees.
So I would rather have my batteries fully charged and the left over for pool pump, dishwasher, whatever else. Wouldn't be able to push more then 30kWh a day thanks to shading.

I also checked Kiwkot's warranty for any mention of max temperatures and found nothing, which corresponds with the idea that pressure is the critical factor.

tbh I don't think even boiling is a problem for the tank given the valve, but for obvious reasons you don't want steam in your outlet.

I also have my inlet valve down at 200 kPa which creates a huge margin on a 600-kPa-rated tank.

I'm more concerned about temperature related wear on the gasket and thermal probe, and faster wear of the sacrificial anode, which yes I will replace thanks wingnut.

I'm sure he's a geyser guy, pitching his geysers which ever thread allows it.
I'm sure his back yard is strewn with geysers waiting to go for low low prices.

The last geyser that sat in my yard was a proper copper job from the 80s, majestic. Needless to say the plumber did not ask if I wanted him to dispose of it for me. He just did. Nice guy.

Yeah, I could've doubled my generation if it wasn't for those bloody things.
I mean one string only really starts producing at 9am :( the other 7.20

No outhouse here, we had indoor plumbing already. Has the original garage for the buggy though.

No spot for the horses? We stayed in a house built in the late 1800s that still had an outhouse, though it was the servants loo by then as my gran would say.
My uncle still joked with me that the house was haunted, my gran went along with it. Man my family were weird.

There is a tree outside my house that doesn't shade anything, but it is annoying because it drops these seeds that look like leaves and cause a huge mess.

Me being a caring citizen I am I went on the area WhatsApp group and told my neighbours I fear for their safety and property. I mean, imagine what would happen to my neighbours if the tree fell during a thunderstorm.

They gave the go-ahead to call COJ and get the tree cut. It should be gone in the next 30 days.

I am a very caring neighbour though :).

30 days from CoJ? I'm currently on day 709 for them to come trim the trees. Took them 190 days to remove the three termites covered ones. Hmmm perhaps I need to do that
