It's been one of those days, trying to sort DNS problems out, but other than that the site is broken - very different to the local copy. Can't upload over the existing content as it keeps giving a 550 Permission Denied error using FTP. Even using the control panel file manager doesn't work. No scripts below first level folders are executing and even with index files in the 2nd level folders the server doesn't see anything, even if it's there. Sounds like something out of a movie. And it's after 5PM.
No doubt there are some people finding this amusing - none more than myself unfortunately

I cannot alter the folder permissions for some reason, and even with htaccess deleted the problem prevails.. everything works until 2 folders down. One can upload PHP files if they're renamed first, but then when they're renamed to PHP on the server they don't work if they're 2 folders down, 1 is fine.zamrg said:

Agreed. I was LMAO at the picture captions this morning, eg "David Jarvis (left) and Papi Molotsane (right) talking about how crap Telkom is".
And the article titles, eg "Papi buys into Uninet, plans to kick Telkom's ass as revenge".
Hehehe.
Love the new design MeDness. I want to ask though, where are the graphs on Telkom stats? I refer to them often (easier than finding my own, haha!).

graphs are ummmm.. on a little bit of a holiday at the moment.. they all have to be converted to HTML tables because, unfortunately, the account's bandwidth allocation is 2.5GB and overage is R90/GB, & the site does up to 500MB/day so images are something we shouldn't talk about too much 
considering other options though so we'll see what happens. Trying to keep it in SA again.
