Good day,
So i took out a contract with Cell C about a month ago. i ordered a Galaxy Note 2 online from Cell C direct. everything was confirmed and such. to cut a long story short it took roughly 3 weeks to get my phone delivered to me, since they where " sold out " for so long.
any ways, when i eventually got my phone last week monday, i never really played with it as the sim card wasnt activate, which is normal usually takes a day or so or what not.so on Tuesday last week, i started playing with the beast of a phone. wanted to see how well the camera takes pics. when i clicked on the app. it gives a warning: camera failed error. you push okay and it shuts down the app. wtf. i googled to see what the problem could be. some people recommend doing a factory reset, which i did with no help. other people said to update the firmware which i also tried, but i have the latest firmware in this country 4.1.1. other people say its hardware fault.so i called Cell c. waited 20 plus minutes for someone to answer. i couldnt hold any longer as i work in a call centre so i sent their support group an email informing them of the defect in the phone within the 7 day period.
i have not heard anything from the support, so i put a complaint on hellopeter aswell as sent the Cell C Rep on MY BB a PM. i got a call from someone on Friday informing me they would send a courier to my offices yesterday to come collect the phone.
no one came, i sent the support another email aswell as the Cell C rep another PM. to which i have not received a response from yet...
What actions do you think i should take now, as this is absolutely ridiculous. i cant even enjoy my phone as i dont want to download stuff or play games or anything as i know it has to go back.
