What about The PE fires?

I support the idea but leave the choice up to myBB. I would favor some of the donation going to animal welfare as well.
 
Well done MyBB. Vote is for Animal Welfare. Suggestion - I know it isn't much, but could we donate hours in terms of technical support to get IT systems up and running in this area that were impacted?
Perhaps we can start a section where people can post what they need and available members can group together to assist as available/required?

I'd say Knysna Municipality, but that's just because I don't know another independent charity.

In a time of crisis I think humans need to look after humans first, so it'd be a human charity.

I'm concerned that Gift of the Givers has become politicized, after that story about them sending South African relief efforts to Palestine. I mean, don't we need support in South Africa? That'd mean my vote wouldn't go to them.

That's why it's better to stay 100% away from any religious charities
 
There are so many animal lovers on mybb it's something we all have in common. My vote goes to help domestic animals especially considering that they might get left out of the big corporate plan's. Well done mybb awesome idea!

Great idea. I don't have a specific charity, but I am prepared to donate some cash, PM or post a bank account number. This can then be part of the overall donation to wherever it goes.
