Hi Max001,

I have heard of so many people very happy with Afrihost. I 1st tried them and then Axxess and I was forced back to MWEB as both had a lot of dead time during upload and download. This was before and after the switch to MTN.

With MWEB I get a constant speed of between 70-100% of my line speed.

I just thought I'd let you guys know I',m in the process of jumping ship. When your upload speeds are faster than your download speeds it's definitely time to change ISPs.

Hi

I'm sure this has been brought up many times and I'm sorry for not going through all the posts. I'm currently with Telkom and downloading at a max of 40 kbps on a 1mbps line doesn't gel with me. I would like to go to afrihost or some other company that at least delivers but I hear rumors about afrihost being shaped.

I do have a budget of around R400 and I want to stay on a 1mb line



Any and all help would be much appreciated!!
