Help with cheapest uncapped ADSL deals

I am completely new to ADSL having previously only used the mobile networks. I needed advice as to who is the cheapest service provider for uncapped ADSL, including line rental. Also the importance of speed, although not too much downloading will be done. Thanks
 
Telkom uncapped is currently the cheapest, but is a nightmare if you want to download torrents during the day or ever want to play online games during normal being-awake hours.

Best will be to take the Telkom simple plan uncapped ADSL month-to-month package, where you get a free modem and installation. If it does not work for you after a few weeks, cancel the telkom ISP and move to someone else. Since you can keep the free telkom modem, you can get another ISP without buying a extra Modem, or if you go to someone like MWEB, you get another free modem.

Long story short: Telkom is cheapest, but they shape international bandwidth at the moment. Otherwise, go for MWEB directly for the free router, or any other ISP with free stuff.

Cheapest 2Mbps uncapped:

1. Order Telkom phone line for R157 per month with R580.00 installation charge or order Telkom Weekender for R176 per month and no installation charge (R19 more) and downgrade to R157 per month after 3 months.

2. Order 2Mbps ADSL from Telkom at R165 per month.

3. Order a 2Mbps uncapped ADSL from Connection.co.za at R99 per month.

There is no cheaper 2Mbps uncapped option.
