Help with this email error message

Some my emails ere being returned with the following: (Ive replaced the actual name with xxxxxx. Emails to certain contacs do get delivered, only some with this message.

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

Andre Jacobs (xxxxxx@gmail.com) on 2009/12/07 10:12 PM
550 Administrative prohibition

Any ideas? Is this a problem on my side or the recipient

That isn't the entire error message/bounce back, so I'm just spit-balling assumptions here

Also.

The error message you get back depends on what email server you use.

550 for wm0000 for example means, what he quoted. For you it means Administrative prohibition.

Your error indicates that there's been a block put on either you or the recipient.

Can you tell us who the error message comes from? Is it your email server or the recipient's email server (there's usually a difference in the mail message itself that will be able to tell you which is which)

If it's yours, then that email address might have been flagged and can't be sent out to (if the bounce back is near-immediate for example). Or if it's on theirs, it means that mail from you isn't allowed (perhaps)

It is mail I'm sending out. Using telkom as ISP. This is the message received from System Administrator

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
