Hemorrhoidectomy

Envy... Pure Envy.

Morphine is so hard to get! Been trying for 3 years. I guess my chronic pain is just not "good" enough...
As I said, there is no effective pain relief for that part of the body.

It should work for my Scheuermann's disease, although tramahexal works okay (oxycodone or hydrocodone would be much better). I just wanna get high :)

Im sorry, I just read tramahexal and had a smal heart attack.
That stuff is horrible :( Took it a while after I had my wisdoms out ( around a month after ) for a bad toothache where they had broke a tooth. It honestly made me feel horrible.

:D
I did it in June this year...
*pain in the butt* personified

Ok,what to expect:
1. After the operation-u won't feel any pain ,just a huge cottonwool stuffed in yo butt.
2. After being discharged-slight pain.
3. When you get home - MAJOR PAIN!

Word of advice - always drink ALL those meds they are gonna give you, especially that anti-constipation med, eitherwise your stools WILL become hard and *jy gaan jou $%Ă·& sien*.

During the first week, always drink your pain meds as well, that area doesn't get much *fresh air* so it takes longer to heal. Use a reminder if necessary, because if you allow those meds to finish in your system before you take your next dose,,, you are going to be in serious pain!

Food-lots of water, fruits and high fibre stuff. Avoid bread for the first week.

2nd week-you will still feel some pain and you must just continue with all the meds. If painkillers run out,top up with GENPAIN capsules (lifesaver!).

You will bleed everytime you pass a stool. This will happen for about 2weeks.

Looks like 2 weeks from now I am in for major pain.

Fun read this thread is.

Hahaha! You do not know the funniest part yet. I am a big dude, 2m meters tall and weigh 115kg and had to stick Lil-lets pads to my underwear for about 10 days. Never thought I would remind my wife to buy sanitary pads... for me! LOL!

Until it is your turn

Not the same but I had a ruptured appendix in 2003 and spent a week in hospital. Think I lost 10 kg's that week.

Oh and I didn't enjoy the morphine. Lucid dreams and pain, not a great combo.

Hope you are better and it never happens again
fingers crossed it never happens to me

This post is like scraping open old wounds ... :(

Does anyone know of pharmaceuticals you can buy without prescription for you-know-what problem.

Be a man and have the op.....I did and have never looked for a suppository again!!

You guys are lucky, I had the op a day before my birthday last year :( Worst thing was my GF booked a spa weekend for my birthday a long time in advance so I had to go to that, which sucked tremendously.

People were looking at me funny...walking slowly and limping. Farting sucked, because I never remembered I had just had an op and followed through 9 times out of 10.

The two weeks after the op were the worst two weeks of my life. It was so painful to poop that my body shut down and refused to poop, so I had to go back to the doc to get poop-pills.

Worst of all, another bugger has appeared so I have to have the op again sometime soon.

:(

Shame man, good luck. Going forward drink at least 2l of liquids daily, more fruits and veg (eg. Dried sultanas).
