Guess I'll try Ivan Toms. The problem is that they cater for Gay Men. I'm not. Should straight people just not bother? The whole STD/STI thing in SA is actually a bit of a joke. No one seems to take it seriously unless you're a gay male or female (Marie Stopes).

Oh, and I think medical aid only covers HIV.

A medical facility aimed at gay men wont turn you away because you are not gay. If you have a issue with going to a facility aimed at gay men, well then. /shrug

That's sadly true. There are a lot more straight people with Aids in this country than gay people, but the stigma is gay guys are sluts where you get the slutty types *cough* Ockie *cough*, many aren't.

People sleep around...whether you're gay or straight...only people upset about the gays sleeping around are the ones not getting any at all.

This was what I was referring to! It's actually really frustrating that South Africa is so poorly geared for dealing with these things. It's all about the stigma!

I've found some new places that seem to have popped up now, though. Awesome!
