Hijacker Killer labelled a racist

Isnt there laws that state you have to warned the person, 3 warning shots or something.... I know its stupid, but if that law exists then he disobeyed it.

Grow up. Do your own research before making stupid, uncalled remarks. Your remarks shows your knowledge about the subject and add up to zero knowledge.

There use to be a saying: Think! Then open your trap.

The reverse do not deserve any attention.

Think!

A reservist is also a police official, wether or not he is a reservist or not, or on duty or not.

I know that could have happened.

But he is trained to handle situations like this. He know the implications if the laws are not followed!!
He probably shot without thinking.

If theres someone on your property carrying a gun, will you just shoot him from your balcony? - You will get into trouble for that.

I am sure, my computer criminal annalist, you would have preferred to be killed, while YOU were the person with the pistol to your head, while a kind and humane policeman introduced himself. Ever so "how do you do". He was shot at. What don't you understand?

Me, I prefer a skilled, trained and experienced policeman with two dead crooks.

Thanks and congratulations mister policeman. May you be blessed.

*sigh*

Welcome to South Africa, where fighting crime makes you a "racist". I can't wait to leave this hole.

Someone said three warning shots? In a restaurant? Impossible. I would have done exactly the same thing, except I'd unload an entire magazine into each of the ****ers.

With respect to normal citizens, I'm sure its more limited than Police Officers.

With respect to Police Offices, I think section 48 or 49 of Criminal Procedure Act restricts a police officer to firing a weapon only in self-defence or in the defence of another person who is in immediate danger. It does require them to issue warnings (verbal then shooting).

For normal citizens, I think basically one is not allowed to take Law in their own hands except for self-defence. Even that is a point of contention. How this extends to defence of another person is something else, I guess.

In this situation it is still considered self defence by the reservist. Acting to protect another from harm who is not able to defend them self.

jk8 u been watching to many movies man

this is south africa u dont say freeze u just shoot the fuqers before they shoot you

the more dead criminals the better

shoot on site i say

no warning no nothing just a bullet to the head

Typicl some moronic a$$holes will support the criminal. If what he did is racist then I am also a racist. I have no sympathy for any criminal or anyone who supports or feels sorry for them. It is time for people to stand up and be take a stand against what is going on here. Either you are with the good or you are with the evil. It makes me sick that some people here (typically) support or have something negative to say about a good cop and the good work he did. :(:(

There is no such law in SA that says fire a warning shot and if someone's life is in danger you have a duty to intervene. You people who have something to say about this cop are disgusting. Wonder what you would say if you were the victim. Absolutely disgusting bunch of beings.
Good for that cop. Well done we need more of you and yes I also would have made sure they were dead.
The freaking hijacker was out on bail for murder !!

One question.... was the hijackers gun loaded?
I know the reservist wouldnt have known but I want to....:)

The gun laws were not observed here and this cold-blooded murderer must be arrested and go explain in court that he acxted within the laws since i believe he was induced by hatred of blacks and not fighting crime since he has no record of fighting his colleagues crimes.

the suspects posed no threat to no-one and the gun was produced as a last resort to deter the victim and it therefore is imperative that the gun was not to shoot her but to get her to obey the order to hand over her ring.

this cop was in no life threatening danger to can shoot fatally.according to the gun laws he should have communicated with the suspects before shooting and introducing himself as a cop and ordered them or him to drop the gun he did not do so so i laud the icd for undertaking to shall do follow-up to obtain their details so that their families can be tracked down and encouraged to instruct the icd to bring charges against this terrorist.

I wouldn't worry about SINGISWATIM....

There was actually a column about him in the Times by Andrew Donaldson. He is a brainless troll.

Check out this quote... remind you of anyone?

At first I thought JK8 was a reasonable guy, but I think he lost it on this one.

B4 anybody makes any conclusion, let the authorities investigate what really happened then we can come to some conclusions or whatever..

But I believe that these would-be hijackers have committed many crimes before. I mean u can't just hijack a Ferrari/Porsche without having done it before. Those would-be hijackers probably worked for some syndicates or something. The unfortunate part is that since they are dead, we might not find out who they were working for.

The syndicate boss will probably recruit other people to do more hijacking and all those crimes. When they showed that incident on TV, one of the hijackers was wearing a very expensive watch with some Nike hand gloves (free advertising for Nike there :D).

I'm glad that those guys won't commit those crimes to anyone again.
