If it a legal wage and its what you can afford, do it. People need money and you genuinely have a need and offering an opportunity to someone who has the most basic of education requirements.

I would do it on the side as a little extra income to be honest, all depends what exactly is expected to be done.

People here are seriously out of touch. Unemployment is ridiculous. Finding a job is tough. At R6k you should be able to easily find tons of overqualified applicants. That said, this is South Africa. A masters degree means perhaps half able to type a half decent kombuis English sentence in an email.
