Thanks for confirming, maybe someone with Series X can also check and confirm for us?Does not appear to work with the PS5.
It won't as HDMI2 doesn't support it.Thanks for confirming, maybe someone with Series X can also check and confirm for us?
1080p @ 120hz is supported with HDMI2.0, but I don't think the PS5/SeriesX allow that over a non-2.1 interface even though it should theoretically work.It won't as HDMI2 doesn't support it.

Yes unfortunately not, my 65 u7qf will have to be consigned to the bedroom now... Well as least after black Friday anyway... Time for a new lounge TV!Does not appear to work with the PS5.
Yeah the other annoying thing is the audio delay with the TV and atmos, apparently it's a thing, so have to set the receiver and the TV to max audio delay.Yes unfortunately not, my 65 u7qf will have to be consigned to the bedroom now... Try changing sound output to Dolby Digital Plus and leave delay dials at default.True, didn't think of that.
So it seems the audio delay on Atmos that the Q8600 users experience, happens on the U7QF as well. Had to set the sound bar to the highest audio delay and the TV to highest then can watch.
I sorted it out by setting it up as Auto instead of pass thruTry changing sound output to Dolby Digital Plus and leave delay dials at default.
How do you go about getting that information? Would the size of the tv matter ?Looking for some help.
My idiot friend attempted to access the service menu in my Hisense Q8600 and went ahead and changed the project ID.
All of this and he forgot what the original project ID for the TV is.
Is anybody able to access the menu and tell me what the default project ID is?
Below are some steps to get i to it:How do you go about getting that information? Would the size of the tv matter ?
Sorry mate, i don't see any of those options. I don't have an advanced audio option. I also have the q8600 55 inch. Dunno, maybe my version is old or something.Below are some steps to get i to it:
As for size of the TV, I am not sure if it matters but I have 55" as an FYI
- Hit menu on the remote
- Tap right to enter the full menu
- Scroll down to sound
- Tap right and select Advanced Audio Settings
- Scroll down and highlight the Balance slider, make sure it is on 0
- Enter 1969 on your remote
- The menu will disappear and a green "M" will appear at the top left
- Hit menu on the remote, this time a service menu will appear
Sorry buddy. Instead of advanced sound settings, it should actually read "speakers"Sorry mate, i don't see any of those options. I don't have an advanced audio option. I also have the q8600 55 inch. Dunno, maybe my version is old or something.
