Careful now. That's how egos get hurt.Do you have a 55 or 65 inch ?
I would return it if its still within its exchange period. That would drive me insane having to see that everyday.Found a bug in these Q8600's. Literally a bug. Lodged between the LED panel and the outer "protective" plastic. At first thought it was some dirt. Anyone else had this what is the recourse you think? Panel obviously not sealed correctly.
What is exchange period. Going to contact them anyways. Screen has what can best be described as blotches/patches all over it. Can clearly be seen on white background.I would return it if its still within its exchange period. That would drive me insane having to see that everyday.
If I understand what you are explaining, that is called DSE (Dirty Screen Effect) It is very well documented on the Full Array back-lit QLED TV's from Hisense, and is most noticeable on a uniform grey screen. What is exchange period. Yup that's it. Is there recourse for this? TV 2 years old and it has been getting progressively worse. If I understand what you are explaining, that is called DSE (Dirty Screen Effect) It is very well documented on the Full Array back-lit QLED TV's from Hisense, and is most noticeable on a uniform grey screen.
Usually within 7 days of purchasing is the exchange period, but may differ from supplier to supplier.
Lol, I have my doubts. But please share your experienceHas anyone installed a VPN service on the hisense Q8600?
Do you have a link to the new firmware?Any Q8600 owners experiencing any issues with the Youtube app recently? I am on the .L1115 firmware and since on this firmware I noticed quite a bit of lag on the Youtube app and odd handling of 4K video where it would start to buffer halfway through the video for no reason and just staying buffering inevitably. A few times the TV had shut itself down from this state as well. Something is up with this firmware.
No. It was auto updated unfortunatelyDo you have a link to the new firmware?
I'm on some old school pre-COVID firmware, but all the apps get updated in the background.
Will try to request it from Hisense SA.No. It was auto updated unfortunately
Hi. Did you manage to get a link for the new firmware? I would also like to update my TV...Will try to request it from Hisense SA.
Unfortunately not. I'm on J1127 and they responded saying that I am already on the latest version.Hi. Did you manage to get a link for the new firmware? I would also like to update my TV...
Nope, mine seems fine. I don't use my mirroring often though as I have a Google TV device that I use with the TV instead of the Vidaa OS.Does anyone else with a Hisense 55" Q8600 have very laggy wireless mirroring?
Do you have the TV connected via 2GHz wifi or 5?Does anyone else with a Hisense 55" Q8600 have very laggy wireless mirroring?
That's unfortunate. Ours was fine. Sold it last month and replaced it with a projector, but it had no issues.3 years later and I'm getting ghosting in static images and lines on light images suddenly
Anyone else had the same?
