I am looking for a "presence detection" sensor, any recommendations? Something that plays nice with HA.
I have my lights hooked up to Xiamo motion snensors currently but that has got it's limitations

our new facilities have these stand alone motion sensors in the toilets - works well.
wish I could check what they are.

Also have a look at the (not battery though) Ezviz Husky Air/Ezguard - some great features for outdoor use i.e. siren and strobe on motion detection. The app is pretty good and you get Ezviz Studio for PC:

Thanks, I'll give it a go. Just how small a movement will it pick up though? If I'm sitting on the couch for instance I would it to still pick up the small movements that go with it.

Remind me why I need hass or tasmota again? I'm guessing only REALLY needed when I start expanding and putting pirs , other sensors or power monitoring in?

I have a spare pie and use google... so would Hass.io be OK to set timed scenes and allow "OK google, switch on patio lights" ?

For when the interwebs go down. Taking control back to your local network, independent of the internet and China cloud servers........and yes, when you start using multiple platforms.
Haven't tested it like that, but yes, I'm sure it will. Nice little sensors........they are really small.
