My geyser draws 3.5kw (measured by efergy) so a TH16 would be too borderline for my liking.
Yes, you'd need a 3000W or lower, otherwise you're looking for trouble.

Went on leave for 10 days - the day after I left the Pi running home-assistant went down - so nothing worked, pool pump, lights, all down.
I could VPN into the house, but couldn't connect to the Pi, didn't respond to pings, SSH down, etc... going to need to find some solution to that so it doesn't happen again.
Do pis do poe? Cos then a managed poe switch that you can power cycle the port...A sonoff basic with ewelink powering the pi![]()

A sonoff basic with ewelink powering the pi![]()
Was thinking of that, but it'll only work if I make an extension cord between the Pi and the wall plug.
Took me about 10 seconds to work out that sentence!

Is there a way to tell which pow I have?Additional monitoring, metering and exporting of logs - not just average consumption.
EDIT: oh and a limit on the load that can turn off the device if it gets too high

Does anyone have any issues setting up sonoff B1 bulbs? I have 3 that I cant get to work. I've tried via android, iOS, and in their respective AP compatibility modes as well. No success. I can get the bulbs to seemingly go into pairing mode and compatilbility mode (3x 2s on and off or 6x 2s on and off) but no actual connection to the bulbs can be made. Am I missing something basic? I have 4 other slamphers that I setup easily, but the bulbs are just not connecting. It cant be 3 dud bulbs.
Can't say I have - is that the older white bulbs?
Anyone ever had any experiences with Sonoff switches burning out, setting alight, etc...?
Just thinking now, replacing switches with T1s without really knowing what the odds are of these things catching fire.
