All you do is, go to the web interface of the sonoff running Tasmota, then to the console page, and enter the command:
Pulsetime 010

When you send the power on command, it will go on, then after 1 second turn off.
Pulsetime 005 will be half a second.

On the basic however, you will have to cut off the 220v power, you don't want to send that through to whatever you sending the pulse command to. There are people that saw into the pcb to disconnect the 220v input from the output on the relay. I myself haven;t tested that, expensive mistake if its not properly isolated.

What do you usually pay for delivery? This is honestly close to cost - so if you know of cheaper couriers I am all ears. That and the fact that I'm not enamored with TCG.

Well I am very happy with TCG's delivery of my Sonoffs on Wednesday. Phoned before delivery and it was quick so was definitely worth the price for me.

That said, what about that SAPO alternative that advertised on MyBB this week. Think it's called Pargo. They only deliver to pickup points, which is a cool alternative for someone that is not available at home, or do not have a reception at work that can take delivery.

Duh. Completely forgot its 220v. Tx.
 
The Sonoff with inching uses a separate chip to do the inching. So if you want to load Tasmota on it you have to disconnect the inching chip.

Much easier to use normal Sonoff sv with Tasmota.

Ah thank you so much!! That's exactly why I decided on the SV over the inching one.

Just to be a complate pain in the rear end..

I know you guys are trying to get the Shelly products... is the main stumbling block purely availability or are they being otherwise about you reselling them?

There are some issues such as valid certifications. It's also taken time to get a response. So we're still in the negotiations phase.

I usually end up paying R99-ish with services like Aramex dropbox, Pargo, Postnet etc to about R133 with xoc.co.za. The thing is that at anything above that I need to start looking at alternatives (collect, own courier, etc) or I need to be super sure about what I am buying - especially when buying components for a system of sorts (as is the case here). Any error would mean that the "missing" piece of the puzzle ends up costing me whatever plus the delivery fee again. Higher delivery fees can turn an impulse buy into an extended waiting & research game (if you know what I mean).

I fully understand what you are saying - been there, done that. The thing is, I would be more than happy if you said that "Cheap courier option X is only sent out once a week/month or biweekly" if it would mean I could save R50.
 
I've used Pargo for onedayou stuff. Had to collect from clicks and they were pretty inefficient and slow. I would rather pay to have it delivered to my office.
 
Aramex flyer is fixed at R99 but you have to manually fill in the waybill and drop off at pick and pay. Maybe an option to do once a week or something.

Could still just have them as an cheaper option. I've used them for Onedayonly as well. Don't think it's them that's slow, Onedayonly takes a while before the item is dispatched.
