Home networking for a Dummy

So it is me again.

Today as I got home my phone and tablet went on the wireless connection and I could use my Remote Desktop items, but I do not have any access to the internet through the wireless network anymore even though ICS is still turned on. ICS gave my 3G connection and IP and subnet mask (255.255.255.252 - which I do not know what the difference is) and my Lan connection (through which I run my wireless is on automatically assigned.

Anyone know why this is?
 
From what I can gather the only thing that has changed is the Routers Firmware was updated to a newer version.

I am unable to find detail on what the firmware does (my router automatically looks for updates as soon as I log into it), but I doubt whether it will block the wireless sharing of internet.

The wifi network itself seems to be working fine.
