hi all.. i am a IT administrator at Flux interactive so i know my netw0rking..

but something strange is going on..

3 pc's 1 vista 2 win 7 32 bit rc 7100

now i get all the net sharing done perfectly
but the whole network resets every few mins sometimes every few hours.

basically i need to refresh my network to see the pc's again and rediscover the net.

What could it be? any ideas

What are the sleep settings on ur machines? Any chance they are going to sleep and dc'ing?

With regards to the windows 7 machines, dont use defaut windows 7 driver for the NIC's, download the proper ones,
my laptop would just stop networking etc after random periods of time or if i changed networks.
worth a shot

Yup! Flux needs to get some REAL techies.

Just kidding! dry your legs. :D

I would check that all IPv6 has been disabled on all your machines. Then check there is nothing funny in the logs of your router. Maybe even load a softwrae sniffer on one of the machines to check what is actually going on in your network.
