Hi,

I'm having a slight issue with my new phone and my router's wifi. I recently got a Sony Z1 Xperia and, although I can get it connected to my home wifi effortlessly, the problem comes in when I leave the wifi's hotspot with my phone and then come back. The phone then sees the network no problem but under wifi settings for my network it says something to the effect of 'saved' as opposed to 'connected'. If I try and manually reconnect, it doesn't work. I need to go through my pc and restart my wireless access point and then my phone reconnects. My old phone (I refer to as 'The Potato'), a Samsung Galaxy Pocket running an alpha version of Android's Fred Flintstone edition, through its countless faults, never suffered this problem. Any ideas?

Router is a duoPlus300 WR.

I'd start with the router...

Maybe grab a router from someone else and set it up with your DSL details and connect your wifi to that.
Leave the hotspot area and go back to it.

If it connects, bingo, you have found your issue.
