HomePod 2 Beta 17

Has anybody been able to update to 17 yet as mine only gives me beta 16.6? The iphone is running the latest ios17 version, and both units have the toggles set for beta updates.

Just recently bought a pair to try, and am hoping the new enhance dialogue feature makes them better. Right now they are not that great, and if you do not enable the reduce bass setting, are even worse.

If you have the beta 17 installed please let me know, and also if you happy with the speakers. Am using mine connected to an apple tv in stereo.

My HomePod Minis updated eventually but it was a very very weird business and still not sure exactly how I triggered it.

Think I turned OFF Beta updates, restarted them and then turned them back on.

Thank you very much!! As mentioned there is no trick, just blindly turn things on and off, which for me included auto updates. Eventually it just works.

If you reading this and battling try holding your phone in downward dog at 45' while requesting updates

In case you didn’t know this you do need to have your phone close to the device the first time to download the profile to it.
