HoN open beta soon, hurry!

I'm in the beta...the game is 100% dota. Like every hero is the same with the same abilities. The map is 100% the same. Its dota with better graphics. It however takes way more bandwidth per game than dota. The game has lots of features that dota doesn't. In game voice chat and better friend system. Its easy to join the games your friends are in:right click on their name and select "join game".

If you want a beta invite I have 2 that I'm willing to give away.

now, are the spells automatically linked to "QWER" or something this time around ?

Yes they are linked like that but you can customize them. The game is still buggy and imbalanced atm so don't get your hopes up too much. Also its VERY VERY confusing having all the names + pictures changed. The shops have also been redone. Much better now but also confusing. If you click on a recipe you can buy the stuff for the recipe (if the shop is nearby)

how big is the client? (didn't wanna click download - i'm scared you only get 1 chance or something - will do it at home with my trusty 3G - they seem very strict on sharing anything of HON to others (even family members, lol)
 
installer is 200mbs and their is a 4mb update

go go k2 engine :P

works on mac + Linux (nativity) too!

Still got a way to go, but once its done ill leave dota behind
 
The client is 200mb (ish). Well i was very surprised that nobody has leaked more videos/screenshots. You get multiple downloads. Well I didn't sign an NDA when I installed the game so they don't have **** on me :P

Well I'll just claim that they didn't force me to read it...other beta's and companies have had me read everything. S2 just had a tick box...wont hold up.

yeah but dont be lame. if you are in the beta its not to play for free and brag.
its to help make the game better and get the bugs out ASAP so every1 can help

when u created your account you had to agree to the NDA terms.

AFAIK on the beta forums they have already killed 1 of the accounts for some1 posting videos on youtube and started legal processes.

Its a good game...dont ruin it

sorry - can't do nothin with an e-mail addy....
