when u created your account you had to agree to the NDA terms.

AFAIK on the beta forums they have already killed 1 of the accounts for some1 posting videos on youtube and started legal processes.

Yea an email address without a real name is not gonna give them anything. I never bragged about being in the beta. In fact I was kind enough to invite people on the forum...I have played a few games of HoN. I don't really play pc games. My friend, who is a dota addict, invited me and I joined. But I understand lots of people love dota so I'm giving keys away.

eish - I bladdy re-installed windows xp for this, my win7 kept restarting every 2 hours. It better be worth it!
 
@ keeper why reinstall windows? there is a working linux/mac client! :P

@pjoub06 well the guy who they prosecuted posted it to utube on his account and they tracked him through that...

Well firstly I dont think its even worth leaking stuff on this game. Its terrible. Dota = free (everyone must have Warcraft 3 by now). Secondly they would need google to help them give info on my account. Anyone can create a gmail account. Its free. They would not be able to prosecute me.

8 hours!! 8 FRIGGIN hours i downloaded on this....

Attempt #1 : Had to use IE friggin 8 download window cuz Flashget wont intercept. Accidently pressed ESC on 88888888880000000000000% and it killed it.

Attempt #2 : Went up to 41% then froze. You have reached your international cap. MOTHER(*&^#*&$.

Attempt #3 : Diff account... Lets try again... 13% ->Freezes up due to IS/SAIX crap. Another whole bunch of BEEPS.

Attempt #4-6 : IS/SAIX still making me bend over by killing my BW, which makes IE FRIGGGGGGGIN 8's little window so confused it bombs out.

Attempt #7 : Install FireFox and press download -> Decide f**k it im going to bed.... wake up and WHOHOO - its done.....

This better be sooooooo worth it...:p

HOLLY F**ING CRAP THIS IS POSSIBLY THE COOLEST GAME EVER!!!!! :eek:

had my first go, came in second place :cool: I believe it was my backdooring techniques that changed the game for our whole group (seemed like the other team was winning in the start)

I love it - simply flipping amazing!

fsck DotA.

PS Graphics are jaw dropping too :)

ping was at 256 - but it felt like 0 ping - it just feels pingless against DotA

lol...my client took the longest to load though, hehe - dead last (not Hardware related, think it was the connection...)

I was checking for a PM, not readin the channel!! im on the same nick - but crap that game is frustrating!! I was at lvl 6 and the rest at 15 when i realised what hero i had !!! /facepalm
 
new update is available - 20 mb's.......

man - this is almost the funnest game I have ever played! been playing all weekend!

Compared to WoW pvp. Instead of spending 6 months leveling and gearing one certain class of hero so that you can start pvping;

Dota gets right to the point and with 90 different units all with their unique set of abilities and playstyles available from the very start. No more endless leveling just to start playing.

You can also lvl from 1 to 25 and gear up, but in a 45min - 65min timeframe.
