Honda S2000 owners feedback

I've had the pleasure of driving a S2000. Its an awesome machine.
Hearing the roar of that engine as it climbs up the rev range, wicked :)

Even when driving with the top down on the freeway, the noise is not bad at all.

Performance : its a beast of a car to handle. If you launch at say 6000 RPM :D , the car "snakes" quite a bit, so you need to fight the steering wheel.

Overall : Its a brilliant car with an awesome engine
 
Nope - no one in Cape Town wanted to risk it, all had other ideas that I didn't like - pity really.
 
i drove the 350 z , i enjoyed the high revving engine but the torque wasnt too impressive.
the engine sound was amazing .
didnt drive the convertible.

Nice feedback, I'm hearing wonderful things about the engine, i hope the clutch is just as well built. I think I'm more scared of the insurance cost for a soft top than the car itself. :D

heh, im a 350z owner and interested in getting a s2000 aswell for the open top
 
Another thing I've noticed, is the S2000 holds its value quite well in comparison to some sports cars.

  • Fitted a K&N Performance intake.
  • Front Lip
  • Painted the brake calipers red, although the heat has destroyed that, need to redo
  • Fitted a larger aero screen
  • I want to fit a street racing clutch, but saving for that at the moment
  • Amp and speakers :)

Nice, Do you get any performance gains with the intake sytem?
It Must surely make the car sound even better.

That front lip really does make a difference to the look, blends in nicely.

When you fitting the LCD screen?

LCD Screen - one day when a shop has the balls to do it :p

The car sounds a 100% better with the intake, people think I replaced the xhorst. The car feels more responsive now too. Some day I'll get it dyno'd.

Lip - didn't want something that stands out to much.. :)
