Are any of you who live in Honeydew Ridge unable to sync since last week?

Since last week Wednesday my line doesn't sync. My ADSL line is with WebAfrica and I've been dealing with them. They say that Telkom says that it's a network fault in the area. However I believe it's an isolated case and I'm finding it impossible to get a Telkom techie to my house.

So maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there is an area fault that's causing me not to sync. I know that there's a network problem with over congestion but surely that shouldn't stop me from syncing.

Anyone not syncing?
 
buy a cheap 1GB of data somewhere.

Use that to see if you connect or not. If it connects the WA has a problem.

Also call telkom & ask them to resync your line...
 
It's definitely not an ISP problem since it doesn't sync at all. So it doesn't get to the sign in part. I tried using my free Afrihost account but that didn't work either. Telkom tells me to phone WebAfrica since my line is with them and WebAfrica tells me that Telkom tells them that it's because of a network fault and that there is no estimated fix date.

Hmm so I'm wondering, are there any Honeydew Ridge people syncing or not syncing? Eh either way will give me some indication of what is happening in the area.
 
It's alright. I gave up and went the CellC speedstick route. Can't be happier. Finally I don't have to deal with Telkom anymore. :)
