Does anyone know that is the telephone number for Host4Africa. For the past 2 days my account is off and theirs no way how to contact them besides their email ?

the page that i linked to only has a fax number. www.yellowpages.co.za is down at the moment. So it looks like you'll have to skype them. Get skype if you don't have it and do a search for them. http://www.skype.com/

My experience with them on email has only been good - help at host4africa.com
Otherwise, do a whois for your domain and use the contact number they put up under the admin phone

Hi, i've tried all the options and mybroadband is my last option! The skype contact nr tells me "I'm not telling", yellow pages are not sure and cant find them and no reply on email for 2 days ? And the contact numbers on whois is engadged whole time ? Maybe its just my account ?

I've just tried to add them to skype--and see that their profile is offline. Just sent them a message which will get delivered when they come online:

Why don't you use Gmail instead? It's incredibly reliable. You can even use Google apps and set up mail for your domain.

Why do small ISPs or Hosting companies make it so difficult for their clients to contact them telephonically? I have seen this over and over since 1997-1999 when I worked in the heart of the ISP industry.
Anyway right now my friend Colleen Paulse is being told by James Caulley
that he will keep will refund her money paid for hosting designersoriginal.co.za (less than 1 week later) and rather keep her domain.
What do I do to help her get control back of her company domain by Monday?
p.s. I have re-submitted a request with Uniforum for the 2nd time today. And I sent him an email and SMS asking him to release this domain.

Contact Uniforum ([email protected] or 080 314 0077) and ask them to help you with a manual transfer, explaining the reasons why. You'll need to fill in a form, get a copy of her ID, have both certified by a commissioner of oaths and fax them to Uniforum.

James Caulley will not release this domain - he will not refund her either. I've had a very bad taste left in my mouth by this guy and is persuing legal action against him.
If I can tell you anything it is not to do business with him. She also won't be able to get hold of him.

I stumbled upon this thread while doing some research on James Caulley. Can anyone confirm if he's (still) working for Host4Africa?
He's currently trying to sell www.mxitmobile.co.za under the name of "Mario Ralph". According to him the site has been running for a while and receiving "thousands of hits a day", but according to co.za whois, the site was only registered yesterday.
Also, I heard rumors that he designs websites for customers, but keeps the domain name hostage (registered in his name). From my own research he sounds a bit dodgy, can anyone confirm this?
